PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce loads applied to teeth, to eliminate the possibility of losing teeth or damaging gum and to clean the back side mutually between the teeth. SOLUTION: The toothpick 10 and the toothpick 20 comprise: main body parts 11 and 21 thinned in one direction perpendicular to the length direction and thickened in the other perpendicular direction; curved end parts 12 and 22 formed at the end part in the length direction of the main body parts 11 and 21, curved in the thick direction of the main body parts 11 and 21 and formed roughly in a C shape; and needle end parts 13 and 23 formed at the other end part in the length direction of the main body parts 11 and 21 and turned to a needle end shape extending in the length direction of the main body parts 11 and 21.
