<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an aliphatic quaternary ammonium salt exhibiting liquid state in a temperature range near normal temperature. <P>SOLUTION: The molten salt is produced by selecting an ammonium cation expressed by<SP>+</SP>NR<SP>1</SP>R<SP>2</SP>R<SP>3</SP>R<SP>4</SP>(R<SP>1</SP>and R<SP>2</SP>are bonded together to form a substituted or unsubstituted aliphatic ring; R<SP>3</SP>is a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group which may contain an ether bond; and R<SP>4</SP>is a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group containing an ether bond) and an anion expressed by<SP>-</SP>N(ARf<SP>1</SP>)(SO<SB>2</SB>Rf<SP>2</SP>) (Rf<SP>1</SP>and Rf<SP>2</SP>are each independently a perfluoroalkyl group which may contain an ether bond; and A is SO<SB>2</SB>or CO) and combining the cation with the anion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
