PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a far-infrared heating apparatus capable of locally warming almost all parts of a body and having an easily storable compact structure. SOLUTION: This far-infrared heating apparatus is so formed that reflecting plates 2 rotationally reflecting far-infrared rays are pivoted to the both sides of a sheet heating body 1 having a sheet far-infrared heater radiating far-infrared rays to be foldable on the sheet heating body side, the sheet far-infrared heater is attached to a synthetic resin board via a thermal insulation board, and a front-side synthetic resin board formed with a plurality of dome-like projections 9 having air layers and transmitting the far-infrared rays is stacked on the sheet far-infrared heater.
