A satisfactory fuse capable of enhancing support balance at a fuse mount, allowing the downsizing of the fuse mount, improving insertion workability, and preventing deformation or breakage of the fusible portion due to externa l force. A fuse (20) comprises a fuse element (25) provided with a fusible portion (22) between the inner edges (21a) of a pair of parallel flat plate terminals (21, 21), and an insulation housing (23) covering the inner edges (21a) of the flat plate terminals (21) and the fusible portion (22). The intermediate portions (21f) of the flat plate terminals (21) positioned laterally of the fusible portion (22) are fixedly held by the mating termina ls in the fuse mount, thereby being electrically connected to the mating terminals.
