PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve an aqueous clear coating composition capable of forming a uniform coated film decolorizable for a short period of time irrespective of a coated site and preventing forgetting about coating or coating unevenness and to achieve a method for producing the coated film using the coating composition. SOLUTION: The aqueous clear coating composition is characterized by comprising a binder resin, a water-soluble amine compound having≥100°C boiling point and phenolphthalein and having a pH value of 9.5-13.0.
