A method and a device for sticking tapes, wherein the tapes (12), (12)... are stuck on a long supporting film (10), the supporting film (10) is stuck and held on a frame member (18) at a position where the tape (12) stuck on an adherend (14) is included in the frame of the frame member (18) and pressed to stick the tape (12) on the adherend (14) and peel off the supporting film (10) from the tape (12). The supporting film (10) is conveyed and this operation is repeated to stick the tapes (12), (12)...on the adherends (14), (14).... Since a tension applied to the tape (12) is distributed on the supporting film (10) and a tension from the supporting film (10) on the outside of the frame is cut off by the frame member (18), a residual stress in the tape (12) stuck on the adherend (14) is reduced. Thus, the warped deformation of the adherend on which the tape is stuck can be prevented.
