<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tandem type image forming apparatus in which feed back control is achieved at low costs in the case of rotating a plurality of photoreceptor drums by a single drive source. <P>SOLUTION: The tandem type image forming apparatus is designed such that the mutual rotation change phases of at least two or more photoreceptor drums are aligned by positioning their respective drive gears by the single drive source. The tandem type image forming apparatus has a rotating-position detecting means only in one area of a photoreceptor drum 2Y drive section. The rotating-position detecting signal of the rotating-position detecting means is inputted to the drive source, and feed back control is exerted so that a change in the rotation of each photoreceptor drum 2Y, 2M, 2C is kept constant. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
