PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric motor capable of reducing amount of outgas which is generated by the electric motor to prevent influences to food products stored inside.SOLUTION: An electric motor 20 includes: a stator 4; a shaft 5; a rotator 7; a bearing 8 which is a sinter oil impregnation bearing; a housing 10; and a mold resin 11 as a resin part. The rotator 7 is positioned facing the stator 4. The bearing 8 containing a sintered material 24 and a silicone oil 24c supports the shaft 5 in a rotatable manner. The bearing 8 is inserted into a housing 10 with a force together with the shaft 5. The bearing 8 supports the shaft 5 in a radial direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
