PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce current consumption of a signal process in reading of an imaging line and a ranging line.SOLUTION: An imaging device has ranging lines on which plural focus detection pixels for outputting signals for focus detection are arranged, plural imaging lines on which plural imaging pixels for outputting signals for generating an image are arranged every line, plural signal processors to which the signals of the focus detection pixels and the imaging pixels are output, and a controller (TG3). The controller (TG3) makes the plural imaging lines perform a first operation (period TS) for reading out signals to the plural signal processors, makes the ranging lines perform a second operation (period TAF) for reading out signals to the plural signal processors l after or before the first operation, sets the plural signal processors to an operation state in one of the first and second operations, and sets some of the plural signal processors to an operation suppressed state in the other operation of the first and second operations.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
