PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress correction accuracy degradation with variation in error of detection data used for correcting a signal pulse.SOLUTION: A superconducting transition edge sensor 1 detects radiation. A pulse-height analyzer 5 generates a radiation energy spectrum using a detection signal output from the superconducting transition edge sensor 1. A temperature control unit 21 and a baseline monitoring mechanism 31 acquire physical quantity data that correlates with detection sensitivity of the superconducting transition edge sensor 1. A sensitivity correction computation unit 7 associates a plurality of sets of physical quantity data acquired by the temperature control unit 21 and the baseline monitoring mechanism 31 at a plurality of points in time over a predetermined period with the detection signal at arbitrary points in time. The sensitivity correction computation unit 7 uses information on correlation between the plurality of sets of physical quantity data and detection sensitivity of the superconducting transition edge sensor 1 to correct the detection signal at the arbitrary points in time in accordance with the detection sensitivity of the superconducting transition edge sensor 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
