CONTENTS DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM

摘要

To enable a user to use all contents provided by a service company and to specify the user of an audiovisual terminal in a content distribution system for distributing a content from an edge server tothe audiovisual terminal according to a request of the user. An apparatus ID specific to the terminal is transmitted from the audiovisual terminal to a home server, the home server transmits the apparatus ID and a server ID specific to the server to a data center, and the data center specifies which audiovisual terminal is used in which living room (user) based on information transmitted from thehome server. When the user selects a content in the edge server, the edge server performs streaming distribution. When the user selects a content that is not in the edge server, the content is transmitted from the service company server to the edge server in response to an instruction from the data center, and then the streaming distribution is performed.
