The present invention provides a method to teach electronic part information, capable of automating input of part information even if automatic recognition about the whole part failed. According to the present invention, the method comprises the following steps: acquiring the whole image of an electronic part; recognizing the electronic part based on the acquired whole image; determining whether recognition of the electronic part failed; setting a partial recognition region in the whole image of the electronic part when the recognition of the electronic part failed; recognizing feature information about the set partial recognition region; displaying the recognized feature information in order to modify at least a part of the recognized feature information; and registering the modified feature information as data of the electronic part when at least a part of the feature information is modified. |
