The present invention relates to a recovery method of polypropylene by washing a waste sediment filter for a water purifier. More particularly, the present invention relates to a recovery method of a material inside a filter (polypropylene) by washing a waste sediment filter for a water purifier, which is all buried or incinerated after use. According to the present invention, the material inside a filter (polypropylene) can be recovered and reused through chemical and physical washing of a waste sediment filter for a water purifier, which is all buried or incinerated after use. According to the present invention, purity and original viscosity of the recovered polypropylene can be improved.
