The present invention relates to a rotation connection type socket capable of enabling a user to easily plug a plug into the socket such as a multiple-tap or the like in a dark space or a narrow space. The rotation connection type socket comprises: a base plate; a terminal connection unit; a rotation connection unit; and a case. The terminal connection unit includes: a support guide unit forming a guide hole along an inner circumference, and an electric connection unit which is inserted into the guide hole of the support guide unit, and connects a connection terminal rod of a plug; and is installed in the base plate. The rotation connection unit is installed in the support guide unit of the terminal connection unit; includes a terminal rod inserting hole which inserts the connection terminal rod of the plug into a space between the guide hole of the support guide unit and the electric connection unit; and includes an inclined side to decrease the height of a part forming the terminal rod inserting hole which is lower than a height of a part of not forming the terminal rod inserting hole. The case forms a penetration hole in a part corresponding to the rotation connection unit to connect the connection terminal rod of the plug to the electric connection unit through the terminal rod inserting hole of the rotation connection unit; and is fixed in the base plate.
