An objective of the present invention is to provide an input device in which the area of a display region (input region) can be enlarged by reducing a wiring region from an edge part of a substrate, the winding of a wire layer between electrode layers is not required, and the electrode layers can be densely arranged. According to the present invention, first electrode layers (21) are connected with each other through a connection part (22) to be continuous in a Y direction, and second electrode layers (31) are arranged in an X direction. The second electrode layers (31, 31A) are formed integrally with second wire layers (37b, 37c). The second wire layers (37b, 37c) pass through wire passages (23A, 23B) formed in the first electrode layers (21A, 21B) and wire passages (33A, 33B) formed in the second electrode layer (31A, 31B). Since first wire layers (27a, 27b, 27c) extending from a first electrode row (20) are not offset from second wire layers (37a, 37b, 37c) extending from a second electrode row (30), the capacitance between the first and second wire layers can be reduced. |
