The present invention relates to a system for setting and calculating zone-based fares by using an electronic map. More specifically, the present invention relates to a system for setting and calculating zone-based fares by using an electronic map, which sets zones in a desired shape and enables fares assigned to the set zones to be variably controlled, thereby providing customized fare calculation service in accordance with a subject of usage. For a special zone which is difficult to access, such as a mountain, a river, an expressway, a high land, an overpass, or the like, or which requires an inevitable detour among the zones for which zone setting has been completed, a higher fare is charged by taking into account a road circumstance, thereby enabling a practical transport condition to be incorporated into fares. Furthermore, the set zones and the fares can be easily changed and controlled in response to geographic changes, such as expansion of a road and the like. The system for setting and calculating zone-based fares by using an electronic map comprises a company information input module, a map generation module, a zone setting input module, a zone display module, a fare setting module, a zone inclusion detection module, a zone information storage module, and a zone information search module. |
