PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fitting structure of an actuator and a shift shaft which can improve theft prevention performance without adding a novel component (without causing an increase of a mass and a rise of a cost due to the addition of the novel component), and also without deteriorating assembling workability.SOLUTION: An SBW actuator 20 has an outer shaft 21 having an inner spline 22 at an internal peripheral face, and an outer spline 12 is formed at an external peripheral face at an end of a shift shaft 11. A notch 25 longer than a length of a tip-side spline 13 constituting the outer spline 12 in an axial direction is formed at the inner spline 22 over the whole periphery along a peripheral direction of the internal peripheral face of the outer shaft 21, and a notch 15 longer than a length of a tip-side spline 23 constituting the inner spline 22 in an axial direction is formed at the outer spline 12 over the whole periphery along a peripheral direction of the external peripheral face of the shift shaft 11.
