PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fitting structure of a base for fitting a faucet that enables a faucet to be fitted on a wall on which the faucet is fitted from a front surface side, without drilling a screw hole through the wall on which the faucet is fitted.SOLUTION: A fitting structure of a base for fitting a faucet includes a plurality of insertion bodies 80 and a base part 821. The insertion body is inserted into a through-hole 13 from a front surface side, the through-hole having a recessed cross-section comprising a first rising part 821 and a second rising part 81 disposed leaving an interval that almost equals a thickness of a wall 11 on which the faucet is fitted, and a connection part 83 connecting the rising parts to each other. The base part is disposed in front of the wall 11 on which the faucet is fitted, to form a part of the base for fitting the faucet. The plurality of insertion bodies 80 is fitted into the wall 11 on which the faucet is fitted and is inserted into the through-hole 13 from the front surface side. At the same time, a pressing member 90, which is capable of pressing the connection part 83 of the plurality of insertion bodies 80 fitted in the wall 11 on which the faucet is fitted onto a peripheral surface of the through-hole 13, presses the connection part 83 of the plurality of insertion bodies 80 onto the peripheral surface of the through-hole 13. Thus, the base for fitting a faucet is formed by a plurality of the base parts 821, and the base for fitting the faucet is fixed on the wall 11 on which the faucet is fitted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
