PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gel paste composition having improved compatibility with methoxy cinnamic acid ethylhexyl of a crosslinked type organopolysiloxane and water, excellent in dispersibility when blended with cosmetic and exhibiting good feeling and cosmetic retention.SOLUTION: There is provided a gel paste composition containing (A) crosslinked type organopolysiloxane and (B) a liquid oil agent, where the (A) crosslinked type organopolysiloxane is a crosslinked type organopolysiloxane obtained by reacting organohydrogen polysiloxane represented by the general formula (I) and a polyoxy alkylene compound represented by the general formula (II) in a presence of a catalyst for hydrosilylation reaction, and containing a polyoxyethylene unit of 20 wt.% or more based on the whole (A) component.
