PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a leg support device that automatically adjusts a torque generated by oscillation exercise by automatically adjusting rigidity of joints for the oscillation exercise, and to thereby make reduction possible for power consumption or a user's burden.SOLUTION: The leg support device includes: a waist side installation part 2 that is installed on the waist side part of a user; a first oscillation arm 13 that is arranged to the side of the user's thigh and that has on top a recessed shape or a projected shape formed which becomes the oscillation axis; a thigh installation part 19 that is attached to the first oscillation arm and that is applied to the user's thigh; a driving shaft member 6 that supports the recessed shape or the projected shape which becomes the oscillation axis of the first oscillation arm and that freely rockingly support the first oscillation arm for the waist installation part; variable rigidity means that makes rigidity variable which is a force required for oscillating the first oscillation arm; and control means for controlling the variable rigidity means. The variable rigidity means is composed of a spiral spring 24, a spring fixing member 23, and rigidity adjustment turning means 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
