The invention relates to an electrodynamic levitation device comprising – a stator, – a flotor (10) which is mounted by means of a multiplicity of contactless electric actuators (12) so as to be movable in six degrees of freedom relative to the stator, wherein at least one of the actuators (12) is embodied as an electrodynamic actuator, – situation-detection means (14) for detecting the spatial situation of the flotor (10) relative to the stator, and – a regulating device which is designed to regulate in each actuator (12) the respective electrical activation variable thereof as a function of the detected situation of the flotor (10) in such a way that the flotor (10) is held in a hovering fashion in a predetermined flotor situation. The invention is defined by the fact that the regulating device is also designed to determine, at least for the electrodynamic actuator, the magnitude of its electrical activation variable, specifically an electric activation current which is necessary to keep the flotor (10) in the predetermined flotor situation counter to a test force acting on it, to calculate the test force therefrom and to output the calculated value of the test force at a user interface, wherein the flotor (10) is embodied in the form of a supporting plate (16) which is supported at each of three support points, spaced apart from each other and from the centre of gravity of the supporting plate, by an electric actuator which is oriented perpendicularly with respect to the orientation of the supporting plate and acts as a supporting actuator (12u, v, w). |
