摘要 FIELD: aircraft instrumentation; flying vehicles with tractor and lifting propellers. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in temporarily dividing the space above or in front of propeller by the jet of compressed air which is tinted for better visualization. Jet is directed in propeller radius from its periphery to axis of rotation in parallel with its disk. Jet is accelerated to velocity approximately equal to rotational speed of propeller; mass of jet is so metered that its kinetic energy is considerably lesser than kinetic energy of arising vortex. Jet is formed as partition crossing the periphery part of disk and rising above it by height of arising vortex average in intensity. Flying vehicle is provided with closed TV system and its camera tube is oriented at inclination relative to propeller disk. Picture monitor is mounted in front of operator's position for observation of space above or in front of propeller. Device for detection of vortex formation is provided with one partition having nozzle-hole of the compressed tinted air system which is made on end directed to propeller periphery. This system includes compressed air source. Pipe line and shut-off valve or cock. Nozzle-hole is so profiled that jet of compressed air escaping from it is just extension of partition directed along propeller radius perpendicularly relative to its disk and axis of jet is parallel to propeller disk reaching its periphery part. Partition is secured to rod passing through longitudinal cavity of propeller shaft as cantilever. Flying vehicle is provided with closed TV system consisting of camera tube and picture monitor connected by means of cable. Camera tube is mounted near partition and is directed towards propeller disk. Picture monitor is mounted in front of operator's position. ^ EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of detection of vortex formation. ^ 12 cl, 16 dwg
