PURPOSE:To enable recording on a recording medium, by a method wherein an infiltrated in a fibrous sheet is ejected by heat or an electric field generated by a recording head. CONSTITUTION:The fibrous sheet 1 is moved in the direction of an arrow 9, when an ink 3 contained in an ink reservoir 2 is moved in the direction of an arrow 10 by an ink-applying roller 4 to be thereby applied to the sheet 1. The ink 7 thus applied penetrates into stitches of fibers to be infiltrated into the entire fibrous part. The fibrous sheet 1 thus impregnated with the ink is fed to a thermal head 12, by which the ink 7 present between fibers of the sheet 1 is rapidly heated into a bumping state, and the ink 14 is ejected toward a recording paper 13 to form a image 15. After the flight of the ink and recording are completed, the sheet 1 is moved in the direction of the arrow 9 together with the paper 13, and recording is sequentially performed. |
