<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which is hardly affected by a load applied on the image forming apparatus, and the flatness deviation of the installation plane of the image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus includes: an original reader for reading an original; an image output apparatus for forming an image on a recording paper; and a supporting body constituted of an original reader supporting part for supporting the original reader, an image output apparatus supporting part for supporting the image output apparatus and a connecting member for connecting both of the supporting parts.
