<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance power generation efficiency of a fuel cell by simplifying a process of manufacturing a catalyst layer for the fuel cell and improving dispersibility of a catalytic component and electrolyte. <P>SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the catalyst layer for the fuel cell comprises a process of growing a carbonaceous porous material as a carrier of a catalyst layer having a nano-sized structure like carbon nano-wall (CNW), by vapor deposition; and a process of making the catalytic component and/or the electrolyte component to be carried/dispersed on the carrier of the catalyst layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
