In a rotating air jet with a central bearing formed by a fixed pipe carrying compressed air, jet outlets parallel to the axis of the central tube direct air at the inner face of filter inserts to be cleaned. The novelty is that compressed air is fed to the shorter lengths of two diametrically opposed L-shaped jet pipes whose air inlet ends are at 90 degrees to the rotational axis of the central tube and which are then bent 90 degrees to run parallel with the central axis; that the parallel pipe ends are sealed and radially linked. USE/ADVANTAGE - The arrangement simplifies the construction of a rotational filter cleaning assembly in that it requires a single rotational bearing, and that jet pipes of different length can be used
