PURPOSE:To eliminate a moulding mounted between a window windshield panel, by a method wherein the upper edge part of the windshield panel is covered with the edge part of the roof panel. CONSTITUTION:A front roof retainer 3 is securely welded to a roof panel 1 by spot welding, and a weld bolt 5 is mounted to the retainer 3. A front rail 7 is formed with a roof rail upper 9 and a roof rail lower 11, and is secured to the roof panel 1 by means of weld bolt 5. An upper edge part 15a of a front windshield panel 15 is covered with a slightly extended front edge part 1a of the roof panel 1, and the terminal of the roof panel 1 is processed by welding at 16. |
