The device to process materials and other items soiled with oil has an initial grinder and a fine grinder with a separator between them to separate ferrous matter. The fine grinder is a pelleting press with a ring die (3). The fine grinder has passage openings (5) passing radially from the inner side (6) to the outer side (7). The passage openings at the inner side have an opening section (8) with an entry diameter of 6-25 mm.
