PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control a surge voltage generated during the switching operation of elements, by further reducing reactance of a power converting circuit. SOLUTION: Semiconductor switching elements 1A to 1D are arranged at the upper stage of the front surface of a heat sink 6, while semiconductor switching elements 2A to 2D, 2E to 2H, 1E to 1H are arranged with their collectors up side. The collector terminals of the semiconductor switching elements 1A to 1D in the highest stage and the semiconductor switching elements 1E to 1H in the third stage among these elements are connected to the DC conductor 3A, and the emitter terminals of the semiconductor switching elements 2A to 2D in the second stage and the switching elements 2E to 2H of the fourth stage are connected with a DC conductor 4A. The bending portions 3a, 4a being bent at 90 degrees are formed at the left end of these DC conductors 3A, 4A, protection fuses 13A to 13E are arranged with equal interval in the vertical direction at the left side surface of the bending portion 3a, and the lower end is fixed. The capacitors are arranged in the vertical direction in the left side thereof with the terminal side thereof placed in the right side, and a pair of leads are twisted for connection to each DC terminal 11A to 11E and each DC terminal 14A to 14E. |
