PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a both side copying operation without wasting recording sheets within the ceiling value of the allowable number of copying times. SOLUTION: In a copying machine, after the recording sheet with a copied 1st surface is stored in an intermediate tray once, the sheet is fed again so as to copy on the 2nd surface of the sheet, and the copying machine is provided with a paper-feed counter for counting the number of papers fed by a paper feeding cassette and a paper-refeed counter for counting up at the same time of counting-up by the paper-feed counter, and in the case a value which is obtained by subtracting the sum of both counter values from the ceiling value comes < 2(N at a step S207), an operation of feeding a paper by a paper feeding cassette is stopped and a paper feeding port is switched to the intermediate tray side (step S203), thereafter, an original is replaced, then, the recording sheet with the copied 1st surface stored in the intermediate tray is fed again so as to copy on the 2nd surface. |
