PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to control image density in matching with the purpose of each user. SOLUTION: An operation panel 97 to select whether or not density characteristic conversion of image data is to be conducted is provided on the upper side of a color copying machine so that whether or not density characteristic conversion is to be conducted is selected when a copy function or a printer function is in use. For example, when a button 97B is operated, density characteristic is converted into image data only when the copy function is in use and no density characteristic conversion is conducted for the image data when the printer function is in use. Thus, in the case of outputting CG image data or the like by sing an external image processing software or a calibration software, no density characteristic conversion is conducted to attain the image density adjustment unique to the user. |
