PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image forming device forming an image with good reproducibility by comparing a detected value by a light receiving member when a reference image is irradiated with reference light quantity with the detected value by the light receiving member when a reference reflecting member is irradiated with specified light quantity, judging the fluctuation of the image and controlling an image forming condition. SOLUTION: Before the image is reproduced, the reference toner image 9 developed on the standard image forming condition is detected by an image sensor 10, and developing bias VB and surface potential VO are adjusted in accordance with the detected value, so that the image is stabilized. By using the surface of a photoreceptor 1 where toner is not stuck as the reference reflecting member, the change of the reflectance of the reference reflecting member and the reflectance due to image density is made a known one. By examining whether the detected value on the image density by the reference light quantity is equivalent to that on the reference reflecting member by the light quantity obtained when the reference light quantity is changed at some rate regardless of the dispersion of the element of the image sensor 10, the degree of the reflectance of the image is judged and the image density is stably detected. |
