<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display system operating adaptively to a type of electronic paper by switching a method for data transfer to the electronic paper according to a use style. <P>SOLUTION: The display system includes: a memory type display screen 102 where an image is displayed with memory type liquid crystal; electronic paper 2 having a memory card 3 storing image data to be used to form the image; and a PC 1 having a printer driver 305 and a USB cable for acquiring and generating the image data and transferring them to the electronic paper 2.
