<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a "display controller" controlling display of a display device capable of displaying images with simpler constitution so that two different images are viewed exclusively from two different directions. <P>SOLUTION: A CPU 1 writes a 1st image 101 and a 2nd image 102 to a frame memory 4 through a GDC 5 so that the images are horizontally connected together to form an image a(b) having the same number of horizontal/vertical pixels as that of the display device 20. The GDC 5 reads out respective pixels of the images stored in the frame memory 4 in raster order and writes them to a 1st line buffer 7 and a 2nd line buffer 8 alternately by lines (c) and (d). Each line buffer mixes (interlaces) pixels of a stored line during a period of writing to the other line so that pixels of the 1st image 10 and 2nd image 102 appear alternately as shown by (g) and (h) in Fig., and outputs them to the display device 20 through a buffer selector 9. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
