PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a function selecting method conveniently and speedily selecting a function frequently used by a user by arranging function items in the order of using frequencies, displaying the arranged function items up to a fixed order, selecting one of the displayed function items and executing the function. SOLUTION: A control part 100 reads each function using frequency from a memory part 102 and arranges the function items in the order of the using frequencies. The function items arranged like this are given orders up to a fixed order and displayed on a display part 106. In this state, the user judges whether to select one of the displayed function items or to finish through the part 106. If the user selects one of the displayed items through the part 106, the part 100 executes the selected function in response to this.
