PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a woven fabric imparting light stretch, having a soft feeling and suitable for sportswear and windbreak/cold protection clothing both not causing squeaky noises in being rubbed and excellent in comfortableness in being worn. SOLUTION: This stretch high-density woven fabric features having a covering factor of 1,700-2,400, having a stretch of 5-20% stretch percentage at least in one direction of the fabric and that threads in the direction showing a stretch are made of polytrimethylene terephthalate fiber multifilament yarns.
