PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic money system and cashless transaction method or the like improved in convenience by merging both a BANKPOS function and an electronic money function. SOLUTION: When the amount of payment is high at the time of payment, a POS terminal 5, to which an IC card 7 is set, requests MS information to the IC card 7 and transmits this MS information to a bank host 1 together with the amount of payment. Corresponding to this information, the bank host 1 moves the fund corresponding to the amount of payment from the account of a relevant user to an account for a shop and the completion of fund moving is reported to the POS terminal 5. Besides, when the amount of payment is low, the POS terminal 5 requests the electronic money corresponding to the amount of payment to the IC card 7 and stores the electronic money received from this IC card 7. |
