PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for permitting presentation of positional information on portable terminal by which a position-retrieved mobile communication terminal can recognize that the position of its terminal is retrieved whenever the position is retrieved and can determine whether or not the presentation of its positional information is permitted. SOLUTION: A position retrieving terminal 4 requests a position retrieving service by specifying the position-retrieved terminal 5. In response to the request, an audio device 2 calls the terminal 5 and informs the terminal 5 of the number of the terminal 4 and, at the same time, obtains the response from the terminal 5 whether the terminal 5 'permits' or 'refuses' the positional retrieval. When the response is 'permits', a position retrieving device 3 acquires the positional information on the terminal 5 and informs the terminal 4 of the information. When the response is 'refuses', the device 3 informs the terminal 4 that the information is not able to be presented.
