PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game device enabling a player to master even a complicated and advanced game while playing the game by outputting advices according to the development of the game and the operating status of the player. SOLUTION: This video game device comprises a display 40; an operating part 11 provided for the player to play the game; and a game computing part 20 for computing the game on the basis of an operation signal outputted from the operating part 11 and displaying a game screen on the display 40. The game computing part 20 comprises an advice computing part 22 for computing an advice outputted according to a game status. The advice computing part 22 comprises a status determining part 23 for determining an advice status, and an advice data storage part 29 for storing outputted advice data, and outputs the advice corresponding to the game status.
