DATA TRANSMITTING DEVICE, DATA RECEIVING/REPRODUCING DEVICE, AND METHOD THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data transmitting/receiving device capable of transmitting contents such as video movies via a network, and receiving and reproducing them with simple operation at the receiving side.

SOLUTION: Content information is transmitted from a data transmitting device 100 to a data receiving device 200. When recording of a content is completed at the data receiving device 200, completion of recording is displayed on a content reception display/operation unit 205. A manual operation button serves as the content reception display/operation unit 205 displaying the completion of recording. Reproduction of received content starts only by pushing the manual operation button. As a result, reception and reproduction of a content can be performed by simple operation.
