METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR HEATING WITH GASEOUS WATER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for heating with gaseous water.

SOLUTION: The method and apparatus for heating a heated material are characterized by heating the heated material in the following processes: (1) hot water and/or steam heated to 100°C or higher is continuously injected into a heating chamber in a semi-sealed space heated to the same temperature or higher, to produce micro droplets and wet heat steam, (2) the micro droplets and wet heat steam are substituted for air in the heating chamber so as to be filled with a gas component having a composition with a humidity of 95% or more and an oxygen concentration of 1% or less and held to a temperature region of 90-180°C, and (3) the heated material is heat-treated with the micro droplets and wet heat steam by applying continuous amplitude heating with the temperature difference of at least 10°C in the above temperature region.
