<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for separating foreign materials from a laver slurry using a rotating part and provide a gap-controlling device to control the gap for separating the foreign materials from raw laver. <P>SOLUTION: The foreign material separating apparatus is provided with a rotating part placed under a stationary selection ring interposing a proper gap and a device for supporting the rotating part and controlling the gap. A pair of conical seats are placed opposite to each other interposing a ball at the top end of a rotary shaft and the conical seats are vertically separated by pushing a tapered part into the core part with a screw. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
