PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable installation of a cover member by an inexpensive constitution in a spinning reel in which two cover members are installed. SOLUTION: In the reel body 2 of the spinning reel mounted on a fishing rod and capable of feeding out a fishline in front, a first cover member 70 and a second cover member 80 are installed from the backward direction in the rear of a reel body and a leg part attached to the fishing rod. The first cover member 70 has a first hole part 74 formed in the upper part, a first fixed part 71 formed in the lower part and fixed from the front to a first fixing part, a second fixed part 72 formed in the upper part and a third fixing part 73 formed in the lower part. The second cover member 80 has a third hole part 84 formed in the upper part, a boss part 81 formed in the upper part and screwed from the front, a second fixing part 82 formed in the upper part and fixing the second fixed part 72 and fixing the second fixed part 72 from the rear and a third fixed part 83 formed in the lower part and fixed from the front to the third fixing part 73.
