<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lamp socket capable of preventing deflection of the socket body, without making the fitting clearance of the socket body and a cover smaller, and without adding another member or cost increase. <P>SOLUTION: The socket body 1 has a base receiving part to receive a lamp base and an electric wire 4, which is connected to the base receiving part. The cover 2 has a housing space 7 in the inner part for housing the socket body 1, in a state with the electric wire 4 being drawn out to the outside. A lamp-holding spring 3 is installed at the cover 2 and has a lamp-holding part 14 to hold the lamp connected to the base receiving part and a socket pressing part 15 to press and fix the socket body 1 into the housing space 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
