HEAT-SETTING INK COMPOSITION FOR OFFSET PRINTING

A heat-setting ink composition for offset printing which has satisfactory dryability, suffers no filming during storage, and has satisfactory stability on printing machines. The heat-setting ink composition for offset printing comprises a pigment, a binder resin, a petroleum solvent, and at least one vegetable oil ingredient selected among vegetable oils and esters thereof with fatty acids, and is characterized in that the vegetable oil ingredient is contained in an amount of 20 mass% or smaller based on the ink composition and the composition further contains a metal soap drier in an amount of 0.008-0.7 mass% in terms of the amount of the metal contained in the drier and contains 0.008-12 mass% at least one member selected from the group consisting of polycarboxylic acids, derivatives thereof, tocopherol, and tocotrienol and 0.08-12 mass% phenolic antioxidant.
