<p>A light emitting device where light transmissive resin is placed between a lens and a light emitting element, the device having a structure that enables the lens to be easily fixed at a predetermined position without degrading light transmissive performance. A light emitting device (1) where a light emitting element (2) and a lens (3) are supported at a spacing at a support body (4) and the lens (3) is fixed to the support body (4) by hardening of light transmissive resin (13) placed between the light emitting element (2) and lens (3) on the support body (4), wherein mutually engageable male sections and female sections are disposed between the support body (4) and the lens (3), the number of the male sections being n (positive integer),the number of the female sections being (n + a) (a is positive integer), the female sections are formed so as to communicate from the light transmissive resin (13) side to the outside, and a number of female sections work, in fixing the lens (3), as leak sections capable of discharging light transmissive resin (13) or air bubbles to the outside.</p> |
