The arrangement has first and second sealing elements (21,22) made of resin material applied to the uninsulated cable by ultrasonic welding, whereby the first and second sealing elements have first and second sealing sections (21b,22b) respectively joined to the wires (10a) of the cable by ultrasonic welding. At least part of the first section is an aperture and at least part of the second section is a complementary protrusion.
