A photographing system is provided to improve an image transmission speed without increasing an operating frequency of a camera module. A photographing system includes first and second camera modules(101,102), a camera controller(100), an output combiner(103), and an image processor(104). The first and second camera modules are arranged in such a manner that light-receiving elements of the first and second camera modules have the same light-receiving direction. The first and second camera modules synchronize captured image data with a pixel clock signal. The camera controller provides an operating clock signal to the first and second camera modules such that the first and second camera module have a phase difference corresponding to half cycle of the operating clock signal, and generates a phase difference of half cycle in image data output from the first and second camera modules. The output combiner combines image data output from the first camera module and image data output from the second camera module in a time division manner. The image processor reconstructs the combined image data as an image based on information on the distance between the first and second camera modules.
