The device (10) has a housing (20) including a closing housing element (21) with a closure element (30) to close the housing. The opening of the housing is caused by an irreversible change of the closure element. The housing element is connected at the area of the closure element using an adhesive or in a partially melted or welded manner. The housing element is provided for the formation of the housing for irreversible fastening at a structural component of a motor vehicle. An additional closure element and the element (30) are provided as an enamel seal or adhesive seal. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing an electrical device enclosed in a housing.
