PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new assaying technique for fractionating and determining an mRNA encoding an immunity-associated protein in a rat, and a primer pair and a probe therefor. SOLUTION: The probe that is used for assaying an mRNA encoding an immunity-associated protein in a rat includes an oligonucleotide to be hybridized with a specific domain of a gene. The kit for assaying an mRNA encoding an immunity-associated protein in a rat is selected from combinations of the probe and a primer pair of a forward primer and a reverse primer including an oligonucleotide hybridized with a specific domain of a gene.
